1969年录製的Let It Be专辑背后，是一连串的挫折和衝突。它对披头成员带来的痛苦，直到二十一世纪都还残留著不快的餘味。於是，我们竟然在它问世三十三年之后，又等到了一个新的版本－－相信这是保罗McCARTNEY憋了许多年的一桩「大愿」。

录製Let It Be的时候，四个披头之间已经有了无法弥补的裂痕：鼓手Ringo受不了自己老被使唤来使唤去，一度忿而离团，好不容易才被劝回来。团长Lennon和前卫艺术家小野洋子坠入爱河，兴致勃勃搞实验音乐和反战行动，对披头四愈来愈没兴趣。吉他手Harrison受够了Lennon和McCARTNEY无视於他愈来愈慑人的创作才华，老把他当成小弟弟，也不认真处理他的歌。全团四分五裂，只剩下保罗McCARTNEY还极力要让披头走下去。

保罗McCARTNEY认為，早已飞越千山万水、在短短十年歷经几世几劫的披头，应该重返他们玩音乐的根源，回归单纯的「四件式乐团」编制，玩玩直来直往的摇滚乐，就像他们刚出道的时候在破酒吧裡打拼的那个样子，他相信这样可以让团员重新找回音乐的热情。

在他的构想中，披头的新专辑将会是一场演唱会实况录音，同时製作一齣电视特别节目，记录披头四在录音间裡排练新歌的情形，最后带到演唱会现场的大高潮。由於整个构想都标举「反璞归真、原汁原味」的精神，他们遂把这个计画命名為"Get Back"－－这也是保罗McCARTNEY的一首新歌。

结果事情完全不是McCARTNEY想像的那样：為了迁就电视摄影的需要，他们全体搬出录音室，来到一个冷颼颼、空荡荡的摄影棚，除了保罗，每个人的脸都很臭，Lennon尤其痛恨身旁永远有人拿镜头对著你拍。对於保罗的热情和苦心，其他几个并不领情。到了最后，没有人有心情去想演唱会的事，他们决定在自己开的「苹果公司」屋顶架起器材唱几首歌，作為纪录片的收尾，然后大家把这件事忘掉算了。

1969年1月30日，他们踏上公司屋顶，唱了四十二分鐘，直到脚下的街道被驻足围观的民眾挤成交通阻塞，附近的屋顶都掛满了看热闹的人，警察才来勒令他们停止，因為声量太大了。这是地球上有史以来最成功的音乐团体最后一次的公开表演，也是后来留在Let It Be纪录片裡的摇滚史经典段落。第二天，他们回到录音室，进行纪录片最后一天的拍摄，又唱了几首歌。这两天的录音，便是后来Let It Be专辑的骨架。

录完这些歌之后，四披头马上把它们拋到脑后，重新打起精神、集中火力，完成了最后一张登峰造极之作Abbey Road。足足过了一整年，到披头形同解散的1970年三月底，Lennon才瞒著他们长久以来的固定製作人乔治马丁，把这堆带子拿给传奇製作人菲尔史倍克特，精修细剪，叠录了大量的管絃乐和女子和声，把原本意图「反璞归真」的Get Back，变成了后人熟知的，具备史倍克特典型的、层层叠叠「音墙」效果的Let It Be。

第一辑：民谣的隽永 I


民谣是所有音乐形式的根基。欧洲民谣，特别是中古民谣，不但有深厚的神话和宗教色彩，而且和近年欧洲兴起的黑暗金属、歌特浪潮有千丝万缕的联系。此期中选了13首器乐作 品，主要集中于金属乐队和中世纪民谣乐队的作品，对于传统民歌未作过多涉及

第一首 Aeternus - Celtic Harp Solo

最早开始注意 Aeternus 是因为其贝斯手是名女子。作为一只黑暗金属乐队，女贝斯手实在是少见。长久以来 Aeternus 在我心目始终是一只二流的挪威乐团，被广为推崇的98年专辑And The Night Became实在平淡无奇。相反倒是97年这张 Beyond The Wondering Moon颇有几分姿色。悠远的民谣神韵，深厚的编曲功底，尽管刻意放慢的金属节奏稍显做作，仍不失为一张佳作。

选的是一首竖琴短笛合奏，优美动听。纯正的凯尔特曲风，但融合在整张专辑中，呈现出的并不是爱尔兰欢乐的篝火，而是挪威寒冷的月光，就象唱片封面描绘的那样。还有远古的 森林，暗野的精灵，寂静的山脉，和山脉之后没有尽头的冰原。


第二首 Ulver - Halling

Ulver 在挪威语中是狼的意思。一般认为 Ulver 是挪威金属乐团中最有才华的一支。有意思的是很多持这种意见的人也不反对将 Burzum 排名为最伟大的挪威金属乐团。和深深根植于挪威自然文化的 Burzum 不同，Ulver的音乐风格变幻莫测。 然而技术上的前卫性却掩盖了音乐上的纯粹性，Ulver 始终没能拥有 Burzum 那种锐利的锋芒。

96年的 Kveldssanger（黎明之歌）是 Ulver 三部曲的第二部。这是一张完全由真乐器和清音组成的挪威民谣专辑，深邃清澈，充满诗意。 微风瑟瑟，山野萧萧，大自然的呼吸仿佛伸手可及。和欧洲其他各国异教音乐不同的是，挪威乐团总是尽量避免沾染反基督的庸俗和邪恶。正是这种洁身自爱，使挪威金属能在浩浩 荡荡的欧洲黑暗金属大潮中永葆青春。


第三首 Poeta Magica - Madredeus

Poeta Magica 是一支非商业化的德国民谣乐团。迄今为止以手工作坊的方式制作了5张专辑。乐队成员都是乐器演奏高手，并在德国经营着一家民族乐器商店。有兴趣的可以去他们的主页看看： poetamagica.com

Madre Deus是一首中世纪器乐合奏。 沉稳而悠扬，珠圆玉润，有种引人一听再听的魔力，非常能体现乐队的风格。和前面两首充满自然气息的北欧民谣不同，德国民谣往往以人文色彩见长，更有亲和力。

第四首 Estampie - 'A L'estampida' Medieval Dance

Estampie是法语。指十三到十四世纪流行于南欧的一种音乐形式，以器乐合奏为主，常用于舞蹈伴奏。

乐队Estampie却来自德国慕尼黑，80年代中期成立，活跃至今。足迹遍布音乐，史诗，舞台剧。是欧洲中世纪文化复兴运动的重要力量。和 Poeta Magica 不同的是，Estampie的音乐有浓厚的宗教色彩，主唱采用庄严的女声，常出现大段的圣咏。同时乐队又具有良好的古典音乐背景，曲风内敛严谨，歌词多取材中世纪游吟诗 人的作品，是学院派中世纪民谣的旗帜

第五首 Medieval Babes - La Volta

1998年，中世纪文化复兴运动方兴未艾，Medieval Babes（中世纪宝贝儿）于英国闪亮登场。十二个貌美如花，来自五湖四海，职业五花八门的女子拨弄着竖琴手鼓，长笛短笛穿花引蝶，用古英语和拉丁文演唱沙士比亚年代的 诗篇。

曾几何时 Medieval Babes 是Virgin旗下销量仅次于辣妹的乐团。宝贝们的音乐究竟如何，见仁见智。这期选一首器乐小品，下期选一首歌曲。

第六首 Stille Volk - Selena Koronna

再来说法国。Stille Volk 是Holly旗下一支法国死亡民谣组合。算是后起之秀。比起Death in June，Current 93 这些死亡民谣的前辈，Stille Volk有着法国人特有的浪漫典雅，及和蔼可亲。

我手头有两张Stille Volk。98年的这张Exuvies是风格庞杂的一张专辑。金属框架支撑的民谣曲风，还有后工业电子的诸多元素，不是特别讨好。选的是一首民族器乐曲，以布鲁林琴，曼 佗林疏缓开篇，如溪水潺潺；中途曲风一转，鼓，风笛，短笛渐入，至高潮处大珠小珠齐落玉盘，令人心旷神怡。



第七首 Bagad Kemper - Suite De Kopanitza

法国传统民歌手Bagad Kemper演奏的一首风笛曲。描绘的是军队凯旋，盔明甲亮，人民载之以歌载之以舞的景象。

相对于出自暗黑厂牌旗下乐队的民谣和各路中世纪民谣乐团，传统民谣缺少那种清冷的神秘气质，代之以的是朴素，率真，和昂然。



第八首 Dead Can Dance - Saltarello

Dead Can Dance是4AD的招牌，是一支非常商业化的中世纪民谣乐团，就不过多介绍了。

Saltarello是一首流行于中世纪意大利的舞曲，节奏自由欢快。很多作曲家在描绘意大利时都会采用这种调式，如门德尔松的"意大利交响"第90号。一些歌特乐团也 翻录过这首曲子，比如Qntal 和 Ophlia's Dream, 这里选取了两个民谣乐队的版本。Dead Can dance 和下面的Freiburger Spielleyt。Dead Can Dance 版本的 Saltrello 还是非常有特色，平和低调，不慌不忙。不经意间流露出DCD特有的迷幻气质。



第九首 Freiburger Spielleyt - Saltarello

Freiburger Spielleyt，另一支德国中世纪民谣乐团。既有Estampie的庄严高贵，又有 Poeta Magica 的浪漫奔放。Freiburger Spielleyt就象采风者和游吟诗人，马不停蹄的飘荡在欧洲的山山水水，总是在你几乎将他们遗忘的时候突然出现，如远行的旧友，带来无比的惊喜和莫名的忧伤。

Freiburger Spielleyt 版本的 Saltrello，满是急促的快板，仿佛归家路上的游子的心境，忐忑的急盼中天高云淡，醉乡路稳不妨行。



第十首 Nightwish - Moondance

Nightwish ，大陆译为夜愿，女歌手 Tarja 领军的美声金属乐团，近年来大红大紫，号称芬兰的瑰宝。98年的专辑Oceanborn名满天下，是新古典主义和金属气质幸福联姻的典范。

Tarja Turunen 从小接受严格的声乐训练，勉强算美女歌手。颧骨很高，给人野心勃勃的感觉。Nightwish 的曲风凌厉，气势逼人，特别是在 Oceanborn 这张专辑中，古典段落流光溢彩，金属节奏泼辣奔放，令人有热血沸腾之感。此碟一出好评如潮，已经成了芬兰金属的招牌。Moondance 是一首古典手法演绎的俄罗斯风格舞曲，美仑美奂，饱含张力。

第十一首 Hollenthon - Interlude

奥地利的Hollenthon，专集Domus Mundi，Napalm 99年出版。乐队成员来自臭名昭著的前 PUNGENT STENCH，常以性虐为主题。变身后脱胎换骨，本张专辑音乐元素丰富多采，FOLK 味十足。

封面还是传统的 Black metal 造型，不过别怕，选的是一首轻松欢快的金属小品。印象是雨过天晴的草原，一只逃离地狱的乌鸦自由的飞翔。贝斯的弹奏炉火纯青，风笛和短笛闪亮迷人。纯正的英伦风味，唇齿 留香。

第十二首 Burzum - Ansuzgardaraiwo

伟大的Burzum。最后一张专辑Hlidskjalf，1999年Misanthropy出版。Burzum其实就是varg Vikernes 一个人的乐队。varg 正于挪威坐牢。10年前他杀死了另一位黑金属的先驱，MAYHEM的Euronymous 。varg 捅了他19刀。Hlidskjalf 是 varg 在狱中创作发行的第2张专辑。他将于2013年出狱。

谈到 Burzum，总感觉有千言万语却无从谈起。Burzum 的音乐是黑金属的丰碑，Burzum 的经历是挪威的传奇。Burzum的一切都充满了难以言传的魔力。这种魔力不是来自于对撒旦的崇拜，或是对基督的仇恨。而是来自于对斯堪地那维亚冰原和高山的召唤，对森 林和祖先的召唤，对自然母亲的召唤。



尾声 Jacky

不知何年何月，遗忘在硬盘角落的一首凯尔特风格小提琴曲，歌手和专辑都无从再考。Jacky是爱尔兰女子名。本曲欢快无比，刚好来缓释Burzum带来的压抑和窒息。爱尔兰人的欢乐，是不带一丝忧伤的欢乐，是最纯粹的欢乐。
