新浪财经讯 美国政府终于向AIG伸出了援手，美联储美东时间16日宣布向AIG提供850亿美元紧急贷款。

有了政府的支持，AIG的优良信用评级将可能得以保住，从而避免破产。

做为回报，美国政府将获得AIG 79.9%股份的权证，从而使现有股东的股票被稀释。同时，AIG高层人事也会发生变动，AIG CEO Robert B. Willumstad将被更换，该公司管理层也将被更换。
